John Millward passed away in 1943. John was just 19 yrs old.
He is buried in the Fairbridge section of the Molong Cemetery.
John actually drowned in the Hudson Dam.
He came to Fairbridge Molong in February 1938, with his brothers Arthur and Leslie. This was the 1st party of 28 boys. The ship was the SS Orama.
Leslie also died in 1945. For two brothers to die so young and so close together in time, is indeed tragic.
Leslie is also buried in the Molong Cemetery.
Arthur, the remaining brother, after the passing of his two brothers returned to the UK, to help soften his grief.
