Bodily Peter

Peter Bodily passed away in 1986. No further details are known of his passing.  ( Please email kirkby@senet.com if you can assist in providing further details.)

Peter came to Fairbridge Molong Farm School in November 1947, he came with his brother Brian. Peter lost contact with his brother in the later years of his life. If anyone can assist here in locating and advising if Brian”s status, it would be appreciated by the relatives in the UK.

This was the first post war party to arrive at the Farm. The Commonwealth Dept of Information made a short film of the arrival of the group of children.

Came to Fairbridge Molong in 1957 and began immediately as a farm trainee. I was 15 yrs old. I loved the work,but found it very lonely and the bullying was awful. Billy Gelson saved me many times in Orange cottage from beatings. I loved this man. I have had a successful life with a wife who died in 2003. I have 3 children and 2 grandchildren. Life has been a challenge since Maureen died.. Brian K OF
