Bernadette Hislop passed away on the 27th January 2008. She was 51 yrs old.
Bernadette came to Fairbridge Farm in 1961, aged 5 with both her parents. The whole family who came, were 9 in total. The family came from Dumbarton in Scotland.
The family that came were Paul 12, Gordon 8, Robert 11, Vincent 7, Thomas 15, and Carol 6mths . All children with the exception of Carol and Thomas attended the Farm School at varying times.
Bernadette is survived by an estranged son and daughter.
Gordon died in 2001 and Robert in 1990.
