William Cox of Mandurama, NSW, passed away on the 9th June 2002, aged 75 yrs.
Bill came to Fairbridge Molong, in August 1939, with his brother Cyril who died in 2000. This was the 5th party of 6 boys to arrive and the escorts were Mr and Mrs FKS Woods.
Beloved husband of Rosalind, father of Lynette, Bruce, Hellen, Colleen, Yvonne, Michael and step- father of Sharon. Grandfather of 19 and great-grandfather of 10.

About The Phantom
Came to Fairbridge Molong in 1957 and began immediately as a farm trainee. I was 15 yrs old. I loved the work,but found it very lonely and the bullying was awful. Billy Gelson saved me many times in Orange cottage from beatings. I loved this man. I have had a successful life with a wife who died in 2003. I have 3 children and 2 grandchildren. Life has been a challenge since Maureen died.. Brian K OF
